Charity

Over the past two decades, Williams Landscape and Design has proudly been involved with a variety of charitable work in the Williamsburg community. We believe that it is important to help those around us when we have the means to do so. The Williamsburg community has fostered an area of growth for us as an outdoor landscape design company and, in turn, we do our best to always give back.

Using our skills, talent and knowledge in the landscaping industry, Williams Landscape and Design has helped a variety of nonprofit organizations with their landscaping needs. Our team of professionals are always happy to help and we complete each project with bright smiles and endless energy.

For multiple years, we have participated in the United Way’s Day of Caring in Williamsburg. This annual volunteer event takes place in the fall to bring the community together and create a positive impact on local nonprofits. In 2012, 2014 and 2016, our team donated time, effort and materials to improve the landscape around the Historic Triangle Community Services Center with services such as mulching, tree planting and trimming and garden clean-up. In 2018, we worked on the landscape surrounding Heritage Humane Society.

In 2017, our crews prepared the Lackey Free Clinic gardens for another year. This opportunity allowed our team members to receive training and improve their skills while providing a valuable service to the local community. The following year, we donated materials, equipment and labor to the Williamsburg Contemporary Arts Center for the creation of a new landscape that included a rain garden.

We have also participated in and sponsored multiple golf tournaments supporting causes and local teams, such as 757 SwimHere for the Girls and Williamsburg Christian Academy. As well as sponsoring multiple events throughout the community such as Spring Fest, Colonial Bid ‘N Buy Auction, CASA’s Live Auction, and Chesterfield Ducks Unlimited.

Most recently, in 2019, Williams Landscape and Design’s owner, Aaron Williams used his outdoor landscape design talents to draw up the design and prepare the execution of Toano Middle School’s outdoor classroom. We donated materials such as patio bricks to bring the design to life and create and outdoor learning environment.
