Luxury Pool & Outdoor Living Design
Williamsburg, VA
Thomas and his family had a backyard full of trees and wanted to transform it into a space their young family could enjoy year-round.
Working closely with the Williams design team, the project began with sketches tailored to their personal tastes and lifestyle.
The finished space includes:
- A fully mortared bluestone patio
- A covered outdoor living space
- A covered fireplace for year-round use
- A stunning in-ground pool and spa
- A design that works perfectly for a family with kids
Thomas was impressed not only by the quality of the design but also by how streamlined the build process was.
“Aaron was able to bring his entire team and do this project in two days.”
Clear communication, reliability, and craftsmanship made the experience easy from start to finish.
“They make it easy, they’re personable, and I can trust that the design and quality is going to be what I expect it to be.”
Waterfront Outdoor Living Transformation
Williamsburg, VA
After moving to Williamsburg a few years ago, George and Maggie wanted to create a beautiful outdoor space that truly felt like home.
They shared their vision with Williams Landscape & Design, and within a week they had a detailed design presentation.
The project transformed their property with:
- A tiled driveway replacing the original cement drive
- Integrated hardscape and landscaping design
- Brickwork and lawn care enhancements
- A cohesive outdoor living environment
The result is a space they enjoy every single day.
“There’s not a day that goes by where we don’t say how much we love being here.”
From concept to completion, the Williams team delivered exactly what they envisioned.
“From start to finish, you can call one person and get so much done… Anybody that we can recommend Williams to, we always do.”
Luxury Pool, Outdoor Kitchen & Modern Backyard Design
Kristen’s backyard started as a blank slate of grass with plenty of potential but no real outdoor living space.
When she began planning her pool, her pool contractor recommended Williams Landscape & Design because of the modern outdoor living elements she wanted to include.
Kristen envisioned a backyard that felt like an extension of her home, a place where the family could relax, entertain, and spend time outside every day.
Williams worked closely with her to design a modern, cohesive outdoor space that combined luxury features with thoughtful landscaping.
- Strategic tree removal to open the space
- Premium Techo-Bloc Grande Smooth Greyed Nickel pavers
- A beautiful pergola seating area with a ceiling fan and outdoor chimney
- A fully equipped Urban Bonfire outdoor kitchen
- Coastal Source landscape lighting and outdoor audio
The landscaping was enhanced with hydrangeas, boxwoods, cypress trees, and Japanese Snowbell plantings, creating a balanced and elegant outdoor environment.
The result?
A space that dramatically increased how the family uses their home.
“I really feel we added significant square footage with what we did out here, because we use it all the time.”

What makes this story especially powerful is the long-term relationship that followed.
Joe and Susan have trusted Williams to maintain their property for more than 16 years.
